Trostel's Greenbriar - Johnston

One of the better restaurants in Johnson. It is a mixture of trying to appear stylish, but also quite casual. Good for a date night or business meeting. Very recommend reservations before the time as it always seems busy. The food was pretty good. For appetizer went with the Calamari. I decided to go with the chief special, that was Sliced Wagyu, it was delicious, but slightly smaller part that wanted me more. Also the Three Cheese Pizza I enjoyed. Then finally Dessert was the Tiramisu I also enjoyed.

The service was a slow start, but the staff noticed quickly and did everything to fix it. It was especially significant since we went to my friend's birthday. It was just us and we were so excited. They gave excellent service. The food as a whole was great, besides the crushed baby-rot potatoes. They tasted like oil and we couldn't eat them. The cake pieces were excellent. The food was great overall and tasteful. Especially recommend the coconut yarn.

Always a great experience. Meals have tastefully paired fresh vegetables, meats are cooked for perfection, and the bar has no problem with your favorite releases. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs. A great place to go when it is a special occasion.

We made a reservation, everything was ready for us. Had a party of 3 and Stacey was our server. She was FANTASTIC! Very attentive. My filet cam done more than I ordered, and she excused IMMEDIATELY and asked if I wanted a replacement or something else. I went with what my mom had ordered and ordered the same. Get back! The manager came out and apologized....not needed... was so friendly and offered a dessert. We have frequently visited this facility and will continue to do so. Great service, great food! RECOMMENDATIONS!

Although yall were short staffed the food and service was amazing. I had the Crispy Fried Avocado, Mahi Mahi, blueberry lemon cake. We had a great time!
