Small Point Café - Johnston
Small Point Café
Description
Nestled in a charming downtown location, this restaurant offers a delightful ambiance filled with greenery and cozy seating. Diners rave about the delicious food, notably the bagel sandwiches and unique drinks like the Arnold Palmer and sweetened matcha. While the staff are friendly and eager to accommodate dietary needs, some have experienced longer wait times and issues with inconsistent hours. Despite a recent controversy leading to a staff overhaul, the inviting atmosphere continues to draw patrons. While a bit pricey for certain items, guests generally find the quality worth the visit—though parking can be a challenge.

They can get pretty busy! It’s a cozy spot with fun, moody lighting. All of their specialty lattes are great (the guy with the cool hair makes them the best but I think he’s maybe new)
A small but cute and vibrant place to grab coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The iced mocha had great flavor, not a lot of ice, which was good. Even though it got really busy after 9 am, it is a very cool place to work with good Wifi.
Small cozy cafe. Good pastries and bread. Self service. Coffee served in paper cup. Fun crowd.
Nice vibe here. What has struck me is the owner’s (manager’s? wonderful attitude. He takes his coffee seriously but not pretentiously. He took his time helping me decide what I wanted to get. And in watching him do what appear to be job interviews, he seems calm, professional, and straightforward. As does everyone that works here. Could see coming here regularly, but also, if you’re just visiting the area it’s worth the stop if you need something good to drink eat.
