I absolutely love these empanadas! If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the Roots empanada. It combines all my favorite Latin flavors in one perfectly seasoned and deliciously stuffed pastry. And don't even get me started on the secret special sauce - it's amazing! Overall, everything about these empanadas is fantastic! ???

Ordered 3 different types of empanadas for a bbay shower I was hosting and they were a huge hit. The flavors are all amazing and the team at Matilda is exceptional and always a joy. Highly recommended using them for catering your next party! Your guests will love the heart shaped eats!

I recently hired Matilda for my wedding and was so happy with the experience! They brought their food truck and made fresh empanadas and chips for the guests to eat during the cocktail hour. All the guests were raving about how delicious everything was and there were absolutely no leftovers (my only complaint ; The communication leading up to the wedding was also extremely seamless they were so professional and great to work with. Highly recommend hiring them for your events, and I can 't wait to visit them the next time I 'm in town!

I have had some of the best empanadas at this restaurant. I love the unique flavor combinations and creative menu. The beefy Mac is one of my favorites! It is perfectly seasoned and the portion size is just right, allowing you to enjoy it without feeling too full. You can taste the love and authenticity in every bite.

Matilda RI catered the cocktail hour of my wedding a little over a month ago and it went AMAZINGLY. They were extremely friendly professional with both communication and execution, and we were offered a very fair price and so many options (they took care of tons of different dietary requirements). All of our guests raved about the empanadas and there wasn't a single one left over. The heart shapes were absolutely perfect for the wedding, too! Delicious, professional, and so, so, so, so nice!
