What J Mateo Freire doesn't like about Habanero Mexican:
We ordered a carne asada and burrito California, the meat of carne asada it was like rubber and very poor size for dinner dish, burrito California nothing like it supposed to be, no cheese sauce, red and green on top of it, the tortilla stuck on the bottom of the plate, very salty taste, I won't recommend thi restaurant, very disappointed View all feedback.
Overall the food was kind of mediocre. Better Mexican restaurants in the
Best Mexican food in desmoines and great service every time I will definitely make this a regular stop when in town.
The steak in the burrito was mostly gristle, and it was pretty gross. It's a shame because the food here used to be good.
Amazing every time I go!Just brought in a large party. To a man they said the BEST MEXICAN they had ever eaten. Generous portions and strong drinks!! El guapo!If people don't get Carlos's humor, then they don't get out of Iowa often enough. Go for the food, service, and atmosphere. Order the margarita and carne asada and you won't be disappointed!
Sooo good! This is our new stop for Mexican. We enjoyed the outdoor patio. Food and service were exceptional.
