First time checking out Bridgeview and it did not disappoint. Fresh food with great and friendly service. I loved that it was so clean. Coffee was fresh and delicious. What A L E X J doesn't like about Bridgeview Diner:
The food was cold, tasteless and expensive. One word, Horrible! This used to be a pretty decent place to eat before the remodel but today the service was sub par and the waitress out right lied about available food items on the kids menu and claimed that they were out of almost everything because “they usually don’t cater to kids”…???…apparently they were out of chicken tenders, the linguine and meatballs and a hambu... I love diner’s and this diner was a surprise for being nestled in the middle of a trucking industrial area. The establishment was very clean and well maintained. The service was prompt, courteous, and pleasant. I ordered a tuna melt which is a favorite food of mine and it was delicious. It also came with hot crispy french fries. For a quick and good meal, I highly recommend visiting this little diner which is a few minutes from the Newark Int’l Airport (EWR).
I love soup and had chicken escarole with tortellini. Delicious.
Very good food and friendly service. A little tough to get to.
Typical Diner! Our go to place in a hungry morning day, service is quick, nice and sweet. Food is what you will expect in a Jersey Diner No 1 is my go to order, 2 eggs and a toast with a side of Bacon. I like their coffee, just about the right strong taste for me.
As of this posting. Closed until further notice by the owner.A shame,it was a good one the last time I ate here and it's been a long while since then.
