Cactus Bob's Bbq Corral - Johnston

Great food, friendly service, zero waiting time. I had the Longhorn sandwich and it was hot, tasteful and PHENOMENAL.

Cactus Bob is fine. We have the 1/2 Chicken, Brisket, Sausage Link and BBQ Ribs. Everything was pretty good, but the brisket was very dry, which dissapointed me because I love a juicy bride. The chicken was the highlight of the meat. The various tastes of bbq sauces were also very good. The chili was great, but was dissapointed with the taste of the side of the beans. Corn Muffins were very delicious and I liked the Coleslaw! It was good to try, but I had better!

Good. The outside of this place does not really do justice. The BBQ is decent, the value is decent, but go here to try the series of BBQ sauces. From sweet and smoky to flaming melt your tongue hot, this is little more than a BBQ sauce stand with meat to find your favorite taste.

I love this place for lunch. Beef brisket sandwich is great! Make sure to get the beef jerky to take home, a great value. $5 for a 1/4 lb bag of jerky done right.

Damn good BBQ. I'm a sucker for the ultra hot sauces. I can't eat a whole meal with them, but I like to remind myself how hot food can get. Ever since Big Daddy passed away this has been my favorite BBQ place in town. You can tell what is in store for you as soon as you walk in and the smoke grabs hold of you. This place has both great meats and sauces. You HAVE to try the tangy battered pickles too!
