Timber! - Johnson City

The menu is original and fresh, and the service was outstanding. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. Although many people in Jersey City have mentioned that this is a nice spot for celebrations like anniversaries and birthdays, I wouldn’t describe it as romantic or quiet. The atmosphere is quite loud and bustling, with tables situated closely together. Nonetheless, it’s an enjoyable local experience overall.

We ordered our meals and discovered a dead insect in the vegetables. I also tried the tartare, but the meat was subpar. Unfortunately, I ended up with diarrhea shortly after returning home.

I dined at Timber tonight and had a wonderful experience. The fried green tomatoes were delicious! The burger I ordered was the best I've ever had, bursting with rich flavor thanks to the sauce and sautéed onions. The fries were cooked to perfection – just the way I like them, super crunchy. Penny tried the chicken sandwich, and she enjoyed it as well. The staff was very friendly too. Overall, a great meal!

A very good restaurant in walking distance from home. A good diversity of menu options that change enough to keep it interesting and good drink bar options too. Nice outdoor seating area in the back and good service. Would be a five star but for the prices which are pretty steep.

Our favorite restaurant in Johnson City. The food is fresh and creative. While a few items stay, there are new seasonal items. So thankful to have these fine folks in JC.
