Our server, Danica, was outstanding—always there when we needed her but never intrusive. The food was impressive; whoever came up with the idea for a bacon flight deserves a medal! The kale in the kale quinoa salad could have been cooked a bit more to soften it up, but it was still delicious. The drinks were good overall, but they really need to offer a straightforward, non-floral, non-citrusy beer on tap. The absence of such a beer makes me wonder if they have to add something to their beer to enhance its flavor. On the upside, the cidermosa (a mix of cider and orange juice) was very enjoyable.
For appetizers, we enjoyed the bacon mac and cheese and IPA honey-glazed chicken skewers. We also tried Fulkerson's Diamond wine and 1911 Cider Donut. Everything was delightful! We sampled a few more beers and wines, including the Watermelon Cucumber Lime.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and opted for a late lunch. I entered from the downstairs entrance, which was a bit confusing; it would have been easier to come in from the top side. I tried the house burger, which had a decent flavor enhanced by a bacon jam that added a nice surprise to my taste buds. The chips were a bit overcooked but still edible since I'm not too picky. The prices were around $16 for a burger, which is about average for dining out. Overall, the place looked clean and the service was acceptable.
