This is the real deal Mexican food. The birria is so flavorful and they really load on the toppings. Highly recommend adding the pickled red onion.
Don't expect Google to tell the truth. They close early if they sell out. Just a warning.
When I tasted their food it was like I floated through heavens gates. The Classico was absolutely the most amazing thing I have ever tasted on this planet, heaven on earth for real. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you haven’t lived.
I've ordered from Calaveras multiple times, I can't believe I haven't left a review already! The stuffed birria tacos are my go to menu item...the dipping broth is very tasty. Today, I decided to get out of my rut and try something new. The carnitas tostada was delicious, loaded with flavorful pork and beans. Generous portions and the food is always fresh and tastes homemade...you can't beat that! Having them less than a minute away from my office is dangerous, though.
They have the best birria tacos ever we eat there at least once a week
