Wow, honestly very impressed. I got the dirty chai and the Goat of Monte Crisco and both were delicious. The staff was also very kind and efficient. Will definitely be a regular customer from now on.
Such a neat place to have in JC. Really glad we stopped in today for the first time!We ordered the country sandwich, churro beignets, and a matcha tea. ?All fresh made to order and so good! Would definitely return!Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly, no changing table in bathroom, but did have high chairs and a huge chalkboard for kids to draw on

Beignets were lovely, especially the seasonal pumpkin butter offering! A little pricey but a delicious, freshly made to order unique treat. Coffee was on par with a really good coffee shop. I took off one star because they don't offer low fat or skimmilk as a latte option. I had to get almond milk.
The beignettes were outstanding took me back forty two years. I would eat here again. The coffee was, my opinion only, ridiculous. We ordered two classic au lait and an order of classic beignettes. Advertised as correctly constructed with dripcoffee should be a press for 4.50 and steamed milk. We were served lattes with shots of chicory coffee ????. Compellingrecipe. Undrinkable if you know good espresso and a good pressed New Orleans au lait with French roasted chicory coffee. I wouldcertainly patronize the culinary side. I will bring my own au lait and get beignettes next time. Nine bucks? Back in the 1900swhen I was a young barman we smoked weed and understood that a nine bar commercial espresso machine ain't a drip or press. Hardto tell what goes forward these days. The staff was attentive, professional and possibly capable of killing a rush. Thesandwiches produced for another table were a server's dream in gardeManger. Really impressed with the cook. Barman was a roasterwho said they knew the difference between chicory and coffee. Maybe a decision over their paygrade? I like those young folk. IfI could make them a coffee at my shack they might up their game. The barman DOES not want to go head to head against for rentmoney with their expensive machine against my aeropress and manual frother in cappucino. So the likelihood of my loveauthorizing any more of that coffee is slim to famished. She will send me back for food. Try the coffee. You might enjoy it.Many may not.
