The staff is very... read more So this is a subjective 5 stars. This is by no means a 5 star hotel, but in the price range and location I certainly had a 5 star experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful but they aren't on property 24 hours a day. There is NO WIFI (not a big deal for me. the rooms seem to be nicely remodeled a few years ago and show a bit of normal hotel wear. The balcony view of the river is surprisingly lovely. The bathtub/shower needed some tlc, a deep clean would remove the rust and hard water stains that were quite bad. . The bedding looked lovely but the bed is a bit dated and the pillows were a bit thin (only two, I guess I'm spoiled by the red roof pick from 4 pillows style rooms. I definitely will stay with them again if I'm in the area.

I couldn't shower before a birthday party I was in the area for. I never got a call back. When we returned to our room, I left the handle for the tub on, so the water was turned on while I was gone and the tub was now stained orange with rust.
