The ambiance and decor received mixed feedback, with some diners enjoying the urban feel while others found it lacking. Customer service was noted as a highlight, with the chef even coming out to greet diners. The restaurant seems to be off to a rocky start but has potential to become a neighborhood gem if they can address some of the issues mentioned by patrons.
We specifically came to Stack Kitchen to hear James Patrick Morgan. He had been recruited for weeks. Obviously we were very disappointed at another band. Mike was our server. He was very attentive and worked for us. The menu was not up to date: several things we wanted were not available. Most of us have burgers. We made the best of our evening and were fun.
Just at 5:30 on Sat. Back room area, the other had, but main dining room was empty. The food was good. Not sure where everyone else was.
Restaurant was pretty empty, but service was very good...I believe they are fairly new. Chef came out to greet us and provide recommendations. Very nice young lady. Waitress was very nice too. Shrimp and grits were delicious and the beignets were delicious. Looking forward to coming back and trying more things. Will be a cool little spot once they get some more time under their belt.
Food was delicious! The fondue and cauliflower bites were especially good. The place is new and still working out some kinks, come patient because the food did take a while to arrive. I will definitely try again!
Food, service and ambiance were awesome. Bread pudding extraordinary.
