The staff is very friendly. That being said, it's $19.95/adult for the weekend buffet. The variety of food is good, there's some Chinese Indian dishes mixed in with a variety of curries, rice dishes and desserts. My main critiques are the salt level of the food and the temperature of the food. It feels like they put cold trays of food onto the warming table instead of putting in hot food. It was our first time at Sankranti. The food was very delicious. The ambience of the restaurant is very upscale. The staff is attentive and friendly. The flavors were unique and complex. They have a full bar which is unique. It's not your average, run of the mill Indian restaurant. We will definitely return.
