The first time we walked into this quaint little restaurant, delightful scents transported me back to my childhood 42 years ago, when we used to frequent the famous spice market depicted in the film "The Mistress of Spices" starring Aishwarya Rai. This restaurant is a gem, a 15-minute getaway filled with spices, incense, a great selection of vegan dishes, and friendly service. They have a dedicated freezer for vegan options, including cakes, sausages, curries, and spring rolls. We tried their steak skewers and chicken mushroom pies, which were incredibly authentic in both texture and flavor, and we appreciated that they were generously filled. Their boerewors and boerewors rolls were also fantastic, much like their Vienna sausages. Co's has become our new favorite spot for spicy cuisine, and the always helpful vegetarian owner plans to expand the menu even further.

We tried their steak animals and chicken mushroom cakes, which were incredibly authentic in both texture and taste. We appreciate that they are generous with their fillings. Their boeries were also fantastic, as were their Vienna sausages. Co has now become our go-to spot for spices, and the owner, who is always so helpful and vegetarian, is planning to go fully vegan.
