South Dakota Spur - Johannesburg

This spur is one of the greatest I have been too. The service from the stuff is always great and your food doesn't take a long time to be prepared whether you get a starter or just go in for a meal you can be rest assured. If you have a little one you will also be happy as they have a very big playroom with stuff that is monitoring your kids and you could also monitor them using the cameras installed there. But last thing to remember is that it's spur so month end it gets packed!

I haven't been to Spur in so so long and I really enjoyed my meal and the vibe. Came here last night to support the Besa students and it was so busy but the waiters still were incredible and our food came out so quickly despite the crowds. I have no complaints about my meal only that I know they use the Fry's vegan schnitzels( I've been vegan for 7 years i can taste it) and I'd like if they incorporated more to the dish besides just frying it up with flavorless oil. Maybe add some vegan cheese on top? Provide a unique garnish to complement it. I'm grateful for more vegan options and I'm excited for the future it holds in the service and industry space.

At first our Waitress attending us was not very friendly, but warmed up later. I found the food to be very tasty and did not wait long. Wife didn't Like the fact that they don't tag the kids clothes in play area. The manager was very friendly and helpful explaining they dont tag when we asked. But my kids had a good time. Overall a good place to eat.

I went there for supper with my husband and 2 toddlers. The play area is great and there's a child minder watching over them. The birthday song was a hit with the kids too. Whenever it comes on they drop everything and dance along. It was a really fun supper out with the family. Thanks Spur.
