The tastiest food we tried in Nozawa. The okinomiyaki is exactly as you'd expect, it's amazing. I do recommend you arrive early to ensure you don't miss out, especially if there are more than 4 people. I believe the restaurant has a seating capacity of around 30 people, however, it fills up quickly!

This place is small, like all good Japanese restaurants. During ski season, the only time i have visited, in the evenings it is very busy. You can either try your luck and be the first through the door when it opens, or book. We stayed at Villa Nozawa who are very helpful with bookings. There are a few Japanese style tables where you sit on the floor or seating for 4+ at the bar on stools. The Okonomiyaki is the house speciality it 's an Okonomiyaki restaurant and it 's very good. Perfect filling food for Apres Ski. The salads are also exceptional as well as the Sake. We visit every time we stay in Nozawa, often more than once. The first time, the three large screens were showing a tv show that looked like 'Japan 's got Talent ' combined with carp fishing. It all adds to the quirkyness of this wonderful establishment.
The food was good and liked the place. Would definetly go again!
