Bruno's Ajijic - Jocotepec

We had never had a porterhouse steak before. And Monday night was a special. So we went with friends. Oh my! The steak was absolutely wonderful! Cooked perfectly. Tender and juicy. VERY flavorful! And of course, their REAL baked potato and macaroni and cheese sides were great and plentiful. Linda also had a kahlua sundae which was excellent. But the best part of the evening? The staff. Daniel and _______________ (I didn't get her name were so attentive even though it was just the two of them handling drink orders and waiting on tables. Yeah, Bruno's grandson who owns the place was there. He is a nice guy.

We love this place whenever we get in the mood for a good steak. They have a great selection and can cook any of their steaks to perfection. It has been in the same place for at least a couple of decades. Time has changed the appearance and the great ambiance somewhat but still a great place! My favorite has always been the softball fillet.

Everything was perfect! Shrimp delicious. Baked potatoes with crispy skin. Steak done to order. The servers were excellent and very attentive.

First time at this restaurant. Date night with my wife. Great menu choices, food cooked just right. The place is small with the barbecue grill near the front door so you will smell smoky when you leave.

We had a reservation for 4. Not enough waiters. They were very busy. Didn't bring the sides that went with the prime rib. They need to stagger their reservations so the staff aren't rushed.
