Burger Biz - Jindabyne

My housemates and I came and got burgers from here on recommendations from other people. I love a good burger and was a little let down. The burger was good but not what everyone had made it out to be. They were super busy when we order and the kitchen seemed to be pretty stressed when we went to pick up our burgers. Will eat here again hopefully when it's not so busy so I can get the awesome burger I have heard about.

We attended this establishment last night with a group of people. It was busy and it was a good atmosphere. It was a special promo night for a burger guru from Sydney. I ordered from the limited menu ( which did not advertise the prices) and were shocked at the prices... $32 for the basic burger and $36 for the bigger one...we were not aware that they would be served with chips so we ordered chips as well... so over $80 later we received a pretty average meal smothered in cheese... the staff in the open kitchen were chatty and serving themselves to chips and food the whole time ... eating... overall not a good experience. Would not recommend. Expected some extra effort on a promo night but all they did was charge almost double for average food.

So this place is BUSY!First time I arrived and the wait was over an hour- yuck! They definitely lost my business, which means super bad planning on their behalf because you are loosing money!The next attempt was early- 1130am lunch and we had the place to ourselves!There are awesome board games to play while you wait for food and the general atmosphere is pretty cool albeit screaming HIPSTER!The food was American Nostalgic- and there is nothing wrong with that, but I couldn't make it a regular thing, my waist wouldn't allow it.They have cool soft drinks available, and it really felt like we were back in the US!I had the buttermilk chicken and my husband had a burger, both were well cooked and delicious!Cant fault the food quality, but time your visit wisely to get the most out of the experience!

Great burgers but the mac n cheese with maple bacon was amazing...Half size burgers for kids is a great idea.

Came here with my husband on a Monday afternoon. There weren't many people in the shop, but we had to wait quite a while for our burgers. The whole time we were at Burger Biz Eminem songs were being played. My husband actually likes Eminem but we both thought it was a strange choice to play, and then we noticed a picture of him on the menu. Not sure if he gets played there all the time?? I had the vegetarian burger on the menu, which consisted mainly of a piece of haloumi cheese that was far smaller than the bun size, so there were a few mouthfuls of just bun and sauce, no filling. Disappointing for the price.
