I think they're overrated. The flavors are good, but aren't exceptional, especially the path thai I ate a lot better elsewhere. You pay pretty much for what you get. And the map's pretty limited, too. plenty of other thaise restaurants where you eat as well and pay a little less.
From a distance, the best Thai restaurant in Brussels. I go there regularly since 2011 and it's always a pleasure an excellent welcome, a service...
Well... Went yesterday and it was so disappointing. The old owner sold the place to... Chinese. Who think that the only difference between Chinese and Thai food is a handful of cilantro thrown on top of the plate. Zero Thai flavors. The waiter hardly speaks French or Dutch, his English is more than approximal. Forget about his Thai as he doesn't even understand the menu.... I welcome the open mindset of the chines nowadays, opening Vietnamese, Japanese, Thai restaurants. But I'm quite sure there is still a market for good Chinese food. I can only guess if a Chinese opens a Thai or japanese restaurant he must really suck as a cook. Well anyway they are seldom worth trying. In this case... Get along, forget it. There still is a very good Thai at less than a km. Av. Charles Quint. Still open so my apologies for wrong info. The boss needs holidays too... So sad it's definetly closed. It was absolutely the best Thai in Brussels.
