Xs Espresso Jesmond

Disappointing and infuriating customer service. Today, I ordered two iced coffees and waited about fifteen minutes for it. I am a patient person because I understand how busy it gets in cafés as my family used to own one. But my friend and I saw four staff members standing around and doing nothing while we were still waiting for our coffees. And when I tried to ask if someone had forgotten about our order, one of the staff deliberately ignored me then told me (with an attitude) that she had orders ahead of me A.K.A the three pancake stacks that she and two other staff members had to work on together. XS used to be our favorite place to eat, but after this experience, this will be the last time we spend our money there.

[Bad impression] Today, after been a quite long being the customer of XS Jesmond, we got called “crazy” by an XS staff while we had coffee. It was surprised and shocking but it happened. I would not come back to XS Jesmond to avoid the incident happen again.

No interest from staff with the guests Our lunches came out 10 minutes apart, there were only 2 off us. The omelette was a a dried out mess. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

They actually took 45 min to make my order. They don’t give importance to the person who order for pick up. They keep you on waiting for soo long. My partner and I arrived around 8pm for a quick dinner and ordered the steak sandwich and buffalo wings with iced coffees and some chips. The ice coffees and chips were fine but the sandwich and the wings were disgusting. The sandwich tasted stale and the steak tasted off. The wings were an unsettling brown colour with patchy breading and a bitter taste (the oil it was fried in was most likely very old). We could hardly finish half our food before we gave up and left.
