Hungry Jacks - JESMOND

The food at this restaurant is exactly as advertised. It was also very good and came with fresh chips.

A quick Saturday evening meal on the way after a day out late in August 2016.The two mini burgers were good.The side serve of chips/fries was very good.The staff, although very young, were well led and doing the best they could in a busy early evening period.Two staff assigned to 'clean up' were doing their best to keep the interior and exterior of this 'fast food' haven habitable as semi-inebriated customers and rowdy children and families intersected.

Hungry Jacks is basically a burger joint like Maccas. Young staff are cheerful and efficient. Good service, mass produced food but pretty cheap.

They serve the usual Hungry Jacks fast food i.e. burgers, fries, etc. Plenty of free parking. They offer some good options for vegetarians. Staff were friendly.

My husband and I came here for a late night tea... It was around 11pm. We went up to the speaker to place our order and did, however we were not asked what drink we wished to have with our meals! I wanted to order a Fanta or frozen coke but she rushed through and told us our price total and to drive forward! Soooo we went to the window thinking perhaps we weren't even going to receive a drink! But we did... she gave us two small cokes! I dislike coke very much, so my husband got both drinks. He proceeded to ask the lady if we could buy a bottle of water and she said, rather snobby and rude, that we couldn't get anything extra unless we went through the window to order again! She just stood there staring at us with a face totally annoyed. Also, our fries were old and barely warm. My hashbrown on my burger had been done a long time before I received it! Anyway... the point to this long spill is to warn you that it's best to go here during normal hours. Other times? Don't expect good food or good service!! Sorry, Hungry Jacks, but you should make sure your staff are friendly, polite and fulfill your customers orders properly!
