Olive Branch Cafe - Jerseyville

We had breakfast for lunch and it was fantastic. The service staff was very friendly.

I ordered the Caesar salad with grilled chicken but requested no black olives or Parmesan cheese. Unfortunately, despite asking for it, the cheese never arrived. The dressing seemed different and I didn't enjoy it, so I ended up only eating the grilled chicken.

The chicken was delicious! And our waitress, Sicily, was excellent as well.

Walked in to order family meal with the expectation the waitress would write the order down accurately (which she did). Was very specific on how all steaks were to be cooked. Didn't take too long for order to be completed. However, once back home and sliced in to steaks, all were still mooing. Obviously, the cook doesn't understand what well well well done means. Could not eat what we paid for, very disappointed and will never return. Better places in town to choose with better service, food and know how to cook a steak. Unbelievable, a meat thermometer is a couple bucks, they might want to invest in one.

Sicily was our waitress and she was super sweet and did a great job. My husband got the broasted chicken and I got the French toast breakfast. It was delicious and reasonably priced. They serve breakfast all day.
