Three Guys from Italy is a great place to get a slice of pizza in Journal Square. The restaurant is clean and bright, with a section for seating. There are multiple cases of pizza to choose from, so you're sure to find something you like. What John-Paul Georgieff doesn't like about Three Guys From Italy:
This place used to have great pizza especially way back in the day when they were located inside the PATH terminal. I think the business was sold a few times since and the quality has taken a nosedive. Honestly, it's not even average or mediocre, it's awful. The original cheese pizza was incredible, and the Fettuccine Alfredo was fantastic!
The Original Cheese Pie was terrible. I wish I could share a photo with you. It was hard, lacked cheese, and had too little sauce. Plus, it was cold—either because it was reheated from yesterday's pizza or the driver didn’t bother with a pizza carrier. I can only give it one star for providing seasonings, napkins, and plates.
I had the chicken parmesan and penne, and I must say the chicken parmesan was excellent. However, the sauce on the penne was quite bland and definitely different from the delicious sauce on the chicken parmesan.
You guys are just WOW! Cheese pizza has no competitor! Keep it up Best in JSQ
This pie is absolutely amazing! To put it simply, it was fantastic. The owner was on-site making the pies and truly knows how to run a business the right way. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by for a great New York-style or Sicilian-style pie – you won’t be disappointed, I promise. Parking is convenient too, with a garage right next door.
