Honest and Jersey City is a stable, it is located in the prime location of Newark Avenue. Parking is easy and it's right next-door, it's very cost effective. It's about four dollars per hour if you want to park in the lot or else you can be creative and find parking on the street. Pretty much everything your tries really good here, drinks are really good too. View all feedback.
What Meet T doesn't like about The Honest Group Of Restaurants:
Most horrible experience ever at this restaurant. Got takeout from there and as I had a few bites of my food, I found a bug in the food. I wonder what kind of gross and unhygienic conditions their kitchen must be in. Please stay away from this restaurant or risk falling sick. View all feedback.
Extremely disappointed. Ordered pav bhaji and chinese bhel and both were stale. Placed an order after a very long time since the previous order had been so salty, me and my guests couldn't even eat. Had expected delivery to be better post pandemic but alas it disappointed. Also they charge a delivery and service tax(which is again a delivery fee) on top of taxes. Not worth wasting any more money.
Heard a great deal about this place. So, decided to check it out. We were there on a holiday weekend and it was pretty crowded but not filled to their maximum capacity. There were empty tables. We ordered spring Dosa, sezchuan noodles and gobi Manchurian. We also asked for vada pav and they were out of it. That was disappointing. Pros: The spring Dosa was amazing. The dosa was crispy, filling was delicious and just the right ratio. I usually get disappointed with the sambhar and chutney served in Indian restaurants in US but this place cracked it! Cons: The dosa was served in 20 mins and we continued to wait for another 45 mins but the other dishes didn't show up. We asked the waiter how long it would take and he said another 20 mins. At this point we asked him to cancel it and he gladly did.
They are one of the nice restaurant on the Jerseys street.. we really had nice time we ware group on 8-9 we ordered pav-bhaji there most selling dishes we loved it. We also tried chats save puri, papdi chat that was also nice. I personally liked the munchaw soup and Manchurian fried rice with noodles.. We had great time service was little delayed as the hotel was full.. over all Nice tasty Indian food
We had come to this street for doing some grocery shopping and we popped into this place. We ordered a schezwan dosa and papdi chaat along with Indian coffee and tea, thinking we might need to order more. But, we were surely proved wrong. The quantity of food was really good and had amazing taste. We asked the lady if the dosa came with noodles inside and I'm not sure whether it did , but when it came to us it had noodles inside just like we liked it and god it was yummy . One of the best dosas I have had till now and I had asked fir chaat with extra curd and sweet chutney and yes it was loaded as per our request. The food quality and taste is excellent and I would love to come to this place again. The price is also fairly reasonable . We really loved this place and will definitely come here again. Tip for people coming here-order less than what you think you need as quantity loads. I was unable to finish my papdi chaat.
