I'm glad I found this place. It is downstairs and has a rustic raw brick decoration. In a good way, the experience seemed simple and covered. Similar to the staff and their chill approach. But the salmon court I ordered was anything but simple. It had a large mix of textures and aromas. It seems to be as much when you look at it, but every fork full is a culinary adventure. Beautiful environment and friendly staff. Service was not great during brunch and portions were really small. I was hungry. A bit disappointing than dinner once was much better and delicious, with good portions and service. I wouldn't repeat for brunch. But I'd go to dinner again. View all feedback.
Cassoulet was phenomenal, the broth was divine. This is really a French jewel discovered many years ago. I will always make NYC's journey for it.
SAFE Review Service: Was very good. Waitress was very attentive, always checking upon us, ensuring we were taken care of. The manager (probably also the owner) also interact personally with the customers. Ambience: The restaurant had outside seating at street level, but was itself located in the basement. It was very crowded and they have tried to maximize utilization of every space they had. We were provided a table just off the bar, next to the entrance door. The lighting was poor and the room dark. Food: was okay, ordinary. Nothing that made me smack my lips or made me want to go back and try. Presentation was good. Experience: was okay. Not enough of a wow factor to make me want to go back there again. It's a good place to hangout with family. Ensure you have reservations made for your table.

Enchanté Madame Claude Bis. 5 stars for a beautiful Easter brunch. The entire staff was very nice and accommodating. Madame came out to welcome us and take a photo. Half of our brunch party was too late for NY train problems, but the MCB staff sat friendly the punctual half independent and served us drinks while we waited (and took Yelp-Pics). The Escargot Appy is a must try. The court was délicieux. Bread Dipping was addicted. After a few mimosa rounds and snacks on the apps, the main dishes arrived in perfect timing. It was as if they were vaccinating us specifically. We enjoyed all our meals. My Baked Egg Ratatouille était parfait, the sauce was savory, the vegetables were soaked in taste and covered with a light snack with a baked egg on top, yummz! If you weren't here, they have a full bar now!
