A nice place to hangout and a have a quick bite with friends in Jersey City. This is located on Marin Blvd between Grove Street and Newport path stations. We started with the fries which were nice and crispy and the spread was good. They have a lot of draft beer options and they have standard bottled beer as well. They have outdoor seating as well which is a nice in good weather. A good place to chill and have a drin... View all feedback.
What Alaleh A doesn't like about Hudson Hall:
After we ordered our drinks, we were told that we should leave although it was 12:15 AM on Friday night (which is supposed to be open until 1 AM) and we still had more than half of the drinks left. So apparently they close whenever they want. If you want to close, you shouldn’t get any orders then. This is not acceptable…Service: 1/5 View all feedback.
What an amazing spot! If you’re a fan of anything smoked, this is the place for you. Beer lovers will feel right at home, too. The pastrami is the best I’ve ever had—perfectly balanced, not too salty, and it just melts in your mouth. The monkfish pastrami was delicious as well. Don't miss the Portobello fries; they're a must-try. The smokehouse potatoes were delightful, and I adored all the pickled and fermented vegetables—a refreshing change from the usual fare. If you enjoy pork belly, theirs is simply incredible. The lentil soup was thick and scrumptious. My husband was thrilled with the Plzeňský Prazdroj/Pilsner Urquell, while I enjoyed the Downeast Unfiltered Cider, and others were fans of Schofferhofer. Everything we ate and drank was top-notch. This foodie duo will definitely be back soon!
The atmosphere is excellent, and the beer—particularly the Pilsner Urquell served in the "mliko" style—is outstanding. The food is ample and truly satisfying. The staff is very accommodating. It's a fantastic spot to socialize, dine, and enjoy drinks in an authentic Eastern European establishment reminiscent of the 1930s or 40s.
This restaurant is absolutely outstanding! The staff is wonderful, and the food is incredible. I could eat the pastrami every day!
I just threw a surprise 40th birthday for my wife there. It was phenomenal throughout everything, from setting it up and all the way through the party. The food is great whether serving 74 people like we had or eating there for lunch or dinner with a few people. The beer selection is outstanding and finally the ones who make it all happen are by far second to none. I would recommend this place to anyone for an afteroon or night out and also for parties. My experiences with both situations were awesome. Thanks guys!
Great pastrami sandwich and beer selection. Also had the perogies and cheddar bratwurst. Definitely worth it! We stopped by their grand opening on Friday. Great service. Any wait to go again!
