Great neighborhood Chinese restaurant in the Journal Square area of Jersey City. I have a lot of favorite dishes that I order at this place fried chicken, pork chops, boneless spareribs, and hot sour soup. Great for a delicious and quick meals when you don't like or have time to cook. View all feedback.
Great prices for good food! everything was delivered quickly and without problems.
Good prices. Better dumplings. Their shrimp lol mein was good too
I love this place. Fast delivery, great food, great price. You can't go wrong. Really!
The food seems very hit or miss. Certain items are pretty good but there are also some items you should not order. We ordered via DoorDash for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. Lunch specials are $7 and come with pork fried rice, your choice of egg drop soup, wonton soup, or can of soda. Here is what we had:Chicken and broccoli in garlic sauce this is my go-to. Whenever I order Chinese takeout from anywhere, I always say I'm going to order something different but end up back at the chicken and broccoli anyway. I wasn't mad at it. It was a solid chicken and broccoli with lots of fresh/crisp pieces of broccoli. I opted for the wonton soup, which was only okay.General Tso's chicken this one was one of the miss. The batter is so thick and oily, you can barely taste the chicken. Actually, I'm not even sure if there was any chicken at all, or if it was just straight up batter. We had the egg drop soup with this special, which was another miss. It was probably the worst Chinese takeout egg drop soup I've ever had. It tasted like water, corn starch, egg, and loads of food coloring. They didn't even bother using the fake chicken flavoring or any salt. The texture was also way too thick.Beef lo mein this one goes in the not bad' category. The flavor was fine, the pieces of beef were surprisingly beefy and tender, and I really appreciated that they didn't put any celery in there. But the texture for this dish was a bit off too. The noodles were kind of soggy.Although the chicken broccoli was pretty good, it's not enough to make me want to order from here again.
