Absolutely wonderful food and helpful staff. We came here for a late night bite and you could just smell the grill walking in. The chop chop bowl and the fried yucca was great as well and they were quite generous with the sauce.Of course, you can’t come here without trying their chicken. Not only was it perfectly seasoned and grilled, it was also quite reasonably priced.Highly recommended! View all feedback.
What Ronald Cannedy doesn't like about El Pollo Supremo:
Not even going to waste the time writing a detailed review. Have given this place more than one chance. Intentionally withheld items. (As with a fair majority of Jersey City Heights), If you’re black, just go elsewhere. View all feedback.
6/16/23The beans smell roten. Like if they had around three days old. The chicken was lame and dry.Food: 1/5
Not sure is it is because 7pm and they were tired or they are genuinely racist , I’m arab and I was given attitude and called names “ employees whispered between each others in Spanish “ just because I asked for spicy mayo , great food tho
Dry chicken, laughable prices, and terrible service. The difference in treatment of the Hispanic patrons and myself was distinct. Also relatively sure they intentional failed to bag one of my items. And a few to takeout?! What?! This place is a glorified crown fried. Just go up the street, in either direction, and get a much better experience at any of the restaurants you find.

Food is hit or miss Chicken can be dry and tasteless at times. Was definitely better in the early days. Ribs are bland.Food: 3/5
