Delenio - Jersey City

We went for an early dinner and were seated promptly. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to bring in our own drinks. The calamari was crispy and the marinara sauce was delicious. The pizza had a thin crust that was not too thick or crispy, and we all liked it. As we were leaving, the restaurant had gotten busier. We will definitely be returning soon.

My wife and I have eaten here several times. I initially i thought the food which was sharing in a garlic butter sauce, an order of mozzarella sticks and a shrimp parmesan. Was extreme good. The other times we went there basically the order was the same but the food is inconsistent. The last time we are there, this evening shrimp in a butter and garlic sauce somehow found lemony undertones in it. The good is good but as I said inconsistent. Probably the pizza is a much better option.

This used to be my go to pizza spot, but unfortunately it's no longer reliable. The pizza has always been good, but the delivery times have gone from taking between 45 minutes and an hour to straight up two hours. This seems like a straight forward and basic problem to solve, but management doesn't seem like they're in the mood to handle the complete breakdown of their delivery service.Razza and &Pizza will be getting my money moving forward.

I generally don't like pizza but Delenio's is just too good to miss! I genuinely love them and their pies. A hidden gem in downtown Jersey City. Please don't change a thing.
