The Barrel Head - Jerome

We tried the bacon and cheddar stuffed burger with extra bacon and cheddar on top. I can honestly say I have never had a tastier burger anywhere else! It was cooked perfectly and the flavor was amazing.

We tried another restaurant tonight and it was an hour wait, so we found this gem on Google reviews. We?re so glad we did! Our family of 5 (3 kids under 13) all enjoyed this place and the staff was super friendly. Clean bathrooms, great service, and thefood was amazing! Seriously, everyone really enjoyed what they got and we were all trying each other?s orders. Would highlyrecommend!!

I hadn't visited this restaurant in years, and my son and I decided to stop by for lunch on Saturday, December 3rd. We arrived at noon, an hour after they had opened, but there were no customers or employees in sight. We heard people in the back chatting and laughing, but despite waiting for almost 5 minutes, no one came out to assist us. I decided to leave with my son, and as we were walking out, a girl peeked out the side door, smiled at us, but did not say a word. It was quite disappointing to see the lack of service at a place that used to be so great. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning, as it seems like they are struggling with their customer service. It's a shame, considering this restaurant is a staple in Springfield.

Hadn 't been there in years, and my son and I we 're out running around. Thought we could go there for some good food for lunch on Saturday December 3rd. Got there at noon, they had been open for an hour. Walked in, there was nobody in there customer wise oremployee wise anyway. Heard people in the back talking and laughing. My son and I stood there for almost 5 minutes, even talkingloudly, and NOBODY came out to see or check on anything at all. So I told my son we were leaving. As we walked out, a girllooked out the side door of the building, saw us, and smiled. Did not say 1 word at all! I laughed and said that 'sridiculous. . Again she said nothing, just smiled and shut the door. Pitty because this place used to be great. Can 't even getemployees to do what they are hired for. Literally wasn 't 1 customer in the place. I guess I could see why. Will not be back.Sucks because this place is a springfield staple.
