If you're heading to Jericho, central western Queensland, don't drive straight through the town - stop at the Jericho Café & have a yearn with the owners who kn... read more If you're heading to Jericho, central western Queensland, don't drive straight through the town - stop at the Jericho Café & have a yearn with the owners who know the district well and will make you feel very welcome. Little towns like this (population 370) rely on passing-through traffic, and where better to find out the best places to visit than the owners who have operated the store for over 20 years.

The tables were e... read more Unfortunately, Jericho does not have much to offer. Most of the shops are closed and the only café in town does not have a lot to choose from. The tables were empty and there was a unpleasant smell of old grease. On a positive note, the campsite at the edge of the city is beautiful.
