Gypsy Garden - Jerantut

We stumble The gypsy garden was accidentally but so pleasantly surprised! It was a small place with very eclectic decor, but it was really the owners who felt very welcome and make sure we had a good time. I asked if they had many vegetarian options and they explained that almost everything on the menu could be made into a vegetarian dish. I had the Veggie Lasagne and my partner had the Mac cheese. They were delicious and well done. We had a simple Greek salad and also some delicious juices! The owner wanted to make sure that we were satisfied with everything and we had many conversations on different topics. He only brought a fan for us to make sure we were not too hot and even made the portion sizes for us bigger, as we said we were very hungry cyclists! He was a very friendly man and his wife was also beautiful. You really made it a special experience. I'm sure if you're vegan, they'd like to make some specialized food for you. We recommend you to visit this place when you are in the area!

My husband and I accidentally found this restaurant and we are so glad we did! The decor is wonderfully eclectic and quirky, unlike anything we've seen on our trip in Malaysia. The food was delicious and they even had options for vegetarians and vegans, which was a huge plus for us as we are both vegetarians.

We stopped by this restaurant for lunch while waiting for our bus back to KL. The owners of the restaurant were friendly and took great care of the place. Despite the lack of vegan options on the menu, they were able to accommodate our dietary needs with a delicious pasta dish packed with fresh vegetables. The fresh vegetable pasta and pineapple juice were delicious, and I enjoyed chatting with the owner's child as we solved riddles together. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and is run by a lovely family.
