Rude! I’ve been here 20 times and doubtful I’ll be returning. Stop putting mayonnaise on folks sandwiches when it’s not listed on the menu. Jensen Beach and this prime location deserves a better experience than you give. I've been here several times, and it never disappoints. The Hopeman consistently offers excellent food. The service can be impeccable, yet still friendly. It's truly an authentic German restaurant, and the location by the Indian River is fantastic. There's a vibrant bar scene with live music and great tunes playing from the outdoor speakers. With great beer and delicious food, I can't forget to mention Thomas, the owner. I always enjoy my time at the bar with him.

Some ingredients for their dishes are imported from Germany. We enjoyed our meal and beer by the water. Our server, Ashley, along with the busser and bartender, Ashes, were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a great visit. The food was good, and the place was quite busy. I would give it 4 stars as the parking situation is terrible. However, there is plenty of outdoor seating with great views of the surroundings.
