My friend and I had lunch at the Hoffman today. Lovely little place with miles of views. There were about a dozen customers there at about 1pm. They were all over 60yrs old. The music that was blaring did not cater to the crowd that was there. I asked the waitress if they would change the music or at least lower it. It never happened. I've been here several times, and it never disappoints. The Hopeman consistently offers excellent food. The service can be impeccable, yet still friendly. It's truly an authentic German restaurant, and the location by the Indian River is fantastic. There's a vibrant bar scene with live music and great tunes playing from the outdoor speakers. With great beer and delicious food, I can't forget to mention Thomas, the owner. I always enjoy my time at the bar with him.

Some ingredients for their dishes are imported from Germany. We enjoyed our meal and beer by the water. Our server, Ashley, along with the busser and bartender, Ashes, were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a great visit. The food was good, and the place was quite busy. I would give it 4 stars as the parking situation is terrible. However, there is plenty of outdoor seating with great views of the surroundings.

Don’t tell anyone about this best kept secret in Jensen Beach. The Hoffmann has amazingly great German schnitzel and German beers on tap in an outdoor bar on a sandy beach on the Indian River. Friendly staff and local vibe make every visit enjoyable. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Jager Schnitzel, Köstritzer Schwarzbier and Bitburger Pilsner, Bratwurst, German Potato Salad, Bratwurst Entrée, Red Cabbage and German Potato Salad
