Service was comically slow. 3 people working, took us over 20 minutes to get 2 breakfast sandwiches and some coffee. My sandwich was missing guacamole and the other sandwich had a long hair in it. Not surprising since the gal putting it together had long hair that she was wearing down and kept pushing back. Why does she have her hair down while preparing food? Really cool spot for a cup of coffee and a pastries. Especially if you are working on your laptop. Lots of tables and benches to sit inside on a colder day.
Uneasy young women behind the counter, and not Portland-weird either. Creepy ogling-but-trying-not-to-be-obvious/overseeing of room by man behind cigar counter. It viscerally felt all wrong.
Space offers private rooms for business and office meetings. Common coffee and teas with a variety of milk substitutes with a homely atmosphere.
