This is my #1 spot for BBQ ribs in Portland. Mouthwatering. Delicious. The service is excellent, prices great, and you really have to try their baked beans...OMG! The recipes are all handed down from long ago, so you can rest assured- these gals know what they're doing. And I can't forget to mention that the portions are huge! I love this place. What Johnny Burrell doesn't like about Sweet Street Barbeque Restaurant:
I was SO excited to try this place yesterday. I ordered the BBQ chicken meal and received three very small, very skinny chicken wings soaked in bbq sauce. The collard greens were soaked and sad. The potato salad was... ok. It was the most substantial part. The cornbread was a slice of white Wonder bread. The two other carts in this pod i 've eaten at were far better so I won 't be back. 1st time and was more than impressed. Had a pork sandwich and potato salad. So friendly I recommend!
First off the lady working there was so sweet, I got to go food and it smelled so bomb I was drooling in the car the whole way home. Food was fire, definitely recommend
Had the beef ribs with beans and collards. Soooooo good. Service was fast even though they were busy. The sauuuuce!! Omg. Plus they’re on grubhub and Postmates and all that.
I know what them sweet potatoes pies are the the best sweet potatoes pies I ever had and the 7up cakes is out off this world stop by and see 4 yourself
My sandwich had plenty of meat, and their baked beans are going to be attempted at home. Stop in and give it a whirl
