It was all fantastic!!! The Yum Salmon Pla Ra was a standout! Fragrant and fresh and umami and just so well rounded. I ate it with the Sticky Rice. Everything I have had has been delicious. View all feedback.
What Cindy S doesn't like about Som Tum Thai Kitchen:
New place for me, so I ordered Pad Thai as a basis for comparison. Other than heat, the dish was extremely bland. I expect brighter, fresher flavors from good Thai food. The shrimp was also slightly off-tasting. Not fresh. Definitely overpriced based on the quality. View all feedback.
Holy moly, if you dig spice and loud flavors, this is the place for you. Some of the best Thai in town and it came out of nowhere

The Penang peanut curry was the best Ive ever had. So flavorful and buttery.

When I first found this place I really liked the chicken herbal soup and pineapple fried Pineapple Fried Rice. Ive ordered this meal about 10 times so far.Unfortunately each time I order it, the worse it gets. The soup is fairly consistent but the ingredients are slowly getting mis-proportioned. Not a conistent taste. The Pineapple Fried Rice, however, has gotten worse each time. The pineapples are barely cooked and its less flavorful each time. The shrimps taste like they get tossed in after the dish is done. Maybe they switched to an electric stove because I taste no fire.
