What Abigail Dodd doesn't like about Kfc:
Went through the drive through and the manager was the one who gave us our food, he forgot some of our food, spilled a root beer float on my boyfriend then just stared and didn’t even apologize or give us napkins until we asked. The absolute WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ordered food on Uber eats and the driver stole my food, when I called they said I had to PAY DOUBLE to get my food or have Uber eats pay him… that’s not possible from Uber either, screw this guy, I think he’s the
Oh my goodness, I have not had KFC since I was a little 23-year-old, but now that I am a happy little 41-year-old, that lives in Sellwood, I thought, why not give it a try. So, after my long nap, I woke up at 10 PM, and received a notification from Uber Eats about a deal where if you buy one classic chicken sandwich then you can add another one for free with a $15 purchase. So I went with that. And let me tell you, does this thing taste good. The awesome thing is, it is not over-the-top greasy, like KFC used to be in the past when I was the young 19, 20 year-old, living in Milwaukee at that time. The chicken sandwich tasted excellent, and fresh. Both chicken sandwiches were hot and fresh right off the bat. And that was excellent. I also had a nice fresh biscuit, that also tasted good. And finally, to end this good fresh meal, I had a nice large, chocolate chip brownie, which is the perfect brownie to share with your happy friends, and if my good sweet, 43-year-old friend, Wendie, was here for a visit at my place, alongside her daughter, I would definitely share this large brownie with her and her daughter. All in all KFC has come along way since my really young days so if you are looking for that perfect chicken sandwich, then KFC will definitely do the trick.
TLDR: KFC double charged me, then acted like it was no big deal to push me out the door, had to get the charges reversed through my bankI've been here 3 times since I moved into the area, and all 3 times were a bit meh. The 3rd will stop me from ever going there again. The first couple of times I got my order okay and stuff, but it struck me how indifferent the staff there is. I don't know, I guess this is the modern world. I remember the second visit in particular, when a customer was trying to get the attention of one of the staff, and the lady just flat out ignored him. She saw him, but then turned and walked the other way out of view. It was so, I don't know. That same customer had been waiting on a drink, to which I saw the staff put no effort into getting. It was just wild.I mean, both of those first two visits, I stood at the counter a bit before someone even tried to help. The second time, a whole line formed of people because it took them so long to acknowledge the customers.I went in during the snows, and it was pretty slow. The place was full of workers, but they were all standing around. Despite this, I still had to stand there and wait at the front counter for someone to give me the time of day, and oh what a time they gave meThey had troubles charging my card or something. Some manager lady (I assume? , came over, and wanted to take my card so she can start trying to swipe it tog et it to charge. Yeah, well, they charged my card twice. They were sitting there trying to think about charging it a third time, when I pulled up on my phone and I was like, you charged me twice already! I insisted the lady give me my card back, because I didn't want her putting another charge on my card.The lady and the guy that was originally helping me both seemed to indicate that it was no big deal. That the charges would disappear, and it'd all be okay! That if there's any problems, they'll remember me. then they gave me some recipe that on later inspection didn't have anything on it. I have no idea how it was suppose to act as proof of any of that interaction. I'm pretty sure at this point they just didn't want to deal with it, so would have said anything they could have to make me leave. They were unwilling to deal with the mess they just caused.I ended up having to call my bank and do a chargeback because of it.So there ya go.
