$8 for a hot complimentary chai, two vegetarian momos, three chicken momos, and three beef momos can't be beat. The momos have handmade skins and are hand crimped. It comes with two kinds of dipping sauce. This place reminded me of my favorite handmade dumpling place when I was a kid with the hand rolled dumpling skin surrounding a juicy meat filling hand stuffed with green onions and ginger. The momo soup has twenty (20! handmade momos for $8.50 with baby red chard and an aromatic broth. Just saying, someone stayed up all night stuffing hundreds of baby soup momo for you at this place. You should check it out!.
What Jubin Sanghvi doesn't like about Himalayan Food Cart:
I am really sorry to say this but NO! I've had momos/dumplings at other places which are really well cooked and get served with delicious chutneys. Unfortunately, this was not a good experience for us. View all feedback.
Decent vegetarian selection. Very delicious flavor combinations and generous portions. It cost extra and takes longer for the pan-fried dumplings, but I did not regret the decision at all.
Delicious Dal and Choli Puri, subtle flavors better than other Himalayan restaurants in the area. Highly recommended.
Delicious warm chai while you wait for delicious curry or Momo. So good!
So fresh!!! Always made to order. Eat here ans support small local BIPOC business
We drove a lot to come here and it was an utter disappointment and shame. they clearly don't know how to cook momo . the momo was basically a lump pf wheat. the chutney was not authentic either. the fried rice was very dry and little amount . you know when its NOT cooked with love and passion. i am never coming back. NOT HIMAYAN FOOD OR INDO HIMALAYN FOOD.
