Fabos Tacos - Jennings Lodge

I was extremely excited to give this place a try after seeing all of the reviews, and hearing that they have some of the best pastor and asada in Portland. I spent about $80 with tip purchasing a variety of their tacos, rice and beans for myself and coworkers. I'm really sad to say that pretty much everything was meh. From the tacos to the rice everything lacked any kind of flavor. Even the grilled onions didn't taste like anything. The Saving Grace was their green salsa which was pretty good.I will say that this review is based on placing a to-go order. It was about 15 minutes from the time of pickup until we started eating so maybe that had something to do with it.I love that this is a family-owned business.I'm definitely going To give them another try and dine in next time. The majority of reviews are extremely positive so I'm hoping that this was a one-off experience.

Cancelled two back to back door dash orders. They had the order for over an hour before they cancelled the second one. Way too expensive for how bad the service is. Based on the other reviews this seems to be a common problem that they just can't handle. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere more organized.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, VERY tasty tacos!

Food is auténtico, drinks are strong, and the salas has flavor. Nothing more need be said. This place is so fire.
