Great brewpub whose specialty is sours. Flights of four 2oz pours are available and a great way to sample. Dinner was duck in rotini and was a bit odd. It was Trivia Night and was occasionally too loud to talk comfortably: we had to ask for the music to be turned down at one point. Service was great. Will return with my wife, who adores sours. What Jay K doesn't like about Cascade Brewing Barrel House:
First experienced their sour beer as a can from NYC area but was unable to get the can again. So came all the way to the brewery. Although I certainly enjoyed their sour beer a lot overall, what started to linger in my head is that it’s probably difficult to clearly differentiate and characterize between well-made sour beers. We did a tasting, based on recommendations of one of the staff. They were very outgoing and fun. Also the drinks are good!
Good service and good drinks. Food was solid but a little pricey
