Capitola Coffee - Jennings Lodge

So because I’m a vocalist, and I loooove to sing, I pretty much sing wherever I go, especially when I’m in a good mood. I just want to share that joy with others. Stopped in to get a black coffee, no sugar, no cream for a coworker, and Alex said he enjoyed my performance so much that there was no charge for the coffee. One of my favorite cafe’s to work/study. Delicious coffee and friendly staff. The building is absolutely beautiful, and a relief from the busy street out front. Interior courtyard stays cool but also sometimes gets some lovely sunshine. Interior is warm and airy with small and large tables. Small tables they ask a 2 hour max on, so if you’re gonna be there longer join the big communal table! Never gotten a pastry but always looks good!

Capitola stands out in the coffee shop industry of Portland because not only is their coffee delicious and freshly roasted, they also have excellent customer service and interactions, which is rare in the Portland landscape.

Just say yes....from the name, the comfortable and calm environment, the english muffin and the most delicious coffee served by a lovely human. Not sure what else one needs.

With out a doubt, my favorite coffee shop to meet with friends or work. To the few past reviews I've seen complaining about Wi-Fi, I literally work from here daily and the wifi is great, learn how to use a computer and stop blaming the busy baristas. The staff are amazing and super knowledgeable.
