Just thinking about this place makes me smack my lips and say daddy. Get the fried chicken rice bowl for 5 dollars, it’s absolutely the best deal for food you can get in Portland. Coming here after a nice swim in the Willamette river is just like going to Maui.

808 is one of my all time top 10 favorite restaurants! And that’s saying a lot because I EAT. The portions are huge so you WILL have leftovers. But have no fear, those will be the most delicious leftovers you’ve ever saved yourself. We don’t eat pork so the Chicken Combo is always a go-to in my house. Hawaiian food can be a real hit or miss in Portland. They nailed it on the head with this food cart. It's all so fresh, tender, delicious, affordable, and the portions are enormous. The musubi is really good too.
