The scallop special at this restaurant was amazing. The scallops were cooked perfectly, large, delicate, and delicious. The Turkish salad included hummus, eggplant salad, carrots, roasted red peppers, beets, and warm pita quarters, all of which were delicious. We always come back for the consistently delicious food and great service. The Turkish dessert was rich, with complex spices and flavors. I highly recommend it... View all feedback.
What Suzanne Dunn doesn't like about Argana Tree:
Our server seemed unhappy with our order for some reason. Two of us ordered salads and two appetizers. After we placed our order, she asked if that was all. We were one of only 2 or 3 tables in the restaurant. It made for a very awkward and uncomfortable dining experience. Thankfully, the food was delicious. View all feedback.
Large Mediterranean cuisine in jenkintown. since the covid it is already 1 of us to visit places. before the covid we were eating there often. consistently fabulous.
The food was good. the service was slow. the real reason for my lowest rating ever (I have only five star ratings up to now because I try to accentuate.
First, I would like to address the other reviews that this restaurant has slow service. I agree, but with a cave, I only saw it at lunch. After lunch they close at 3 pm to prepare for the busy dinner rush. So unfortunately, if you want a quick late lunch break, you may not be able to get it here depending on the time of your visit. I myself found my lunch with my guest super relaxing. We had enough time to chat and eat an appetizer before our main meal was served. Maybe they should warn you before you sit near the 2:00 timeframe that it will take. I thought the long waiting period was because of the break before dinner and the owner told me I was right. The meal was wonderful. Yes I can see how prices can be considered expensive, but are not all good places? The Babagenoush was excellent, better than my old restaurant for this dish. The owner gave me his secret, which was the expensive virgin olive oil used. That means prices are high. Not to say that everything uses the oil, but they also get fresh/prime ingredients. I must say I'm very happy to have found this restaurant. The big complaint for this place would be the real business location and access to a small parking lot. Otherwise you like this restaurant. Give him an attempt to talk to them, find friendly people. Sidenote: Most people are hired when you go to a restaurant and it is empty. Again, I saw this as a nice little surprise. I and my guest had once with the owner. Plus enough time alone with ourselves.
This restaurant is always a 5/5 experience. The owners are wonderful. The food is delicious. Nice portions.very authentic and unique plates. We had the hummus, falafel, Greek salad, and paella. I would order it all again!
We enjoyed this place. The service and the food was great.
