Schnelle Bedienung, sattmachende Mahlzeiten und abwechslungsreiches Essen machen das Bo`s zu meinem Favoriten in Jena. Bin allerdings auch kein etepetete Feinschmecker ;o).

In the evening, Bo's offers burgers (including a veggie burger and a chicken patty) and fries. I have yet to have food from Bo's that isn't delicious, and an extremely filling meal tops out at 6-7€.So why three stars? Drinks and service. Drinks at Bo's are more expensive than the average in Jena, especially non-alcoholic drinks. (Bo's does offer a late-night happy hour, though.) It is also dark inside the restaurant, even during the day, which is not the most inviting atmosphere. Also, the wait staff is generally pretty nice, but it seems like they get overwhelmed in some basic situations (during Stammtisch meet-ups and the like). During World Cup matches for Germany, the staff at Bo's was required to share one change purse. It took a long time to get and pay our bill in a situation when, well, everyone wants to pay at roughly the same time.
