The service is excellent; you never have to search for your server for refills. They are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The carrot salad is the best I've had in a long time. It's a great culinary experience, offering good old-fashioned country cooking paired with wonderful service.

They have a special menu featuring crab legs and hush puppy fritters, and I enjoyed about 1/3 pound of delicious crab! I also tried the shrimp from the buffet, which was excellent, and the shrimp and grits were really good too. Highly recommend it! Just a heads up: BRING CASH. NOT UNITED!!

The... read more All the food looks as though it was prepared for a photo shoot. None of the food is greasy and it 's all genuine southern cooking that tastes like homemade. The word 'homemade ' gets tossed out a lot and some places use that word liberally but in a lifetime of eating southern cooking, this place is the real deal. The restrooms were spotless. I ate more food here than I normally eat and even after I was full I kept eating because it just tasted so good.
