I really miss this place! I wish it were open again. The elk flakes are amazing, and it's great to have another dining option in Jefferson that serves beer! We also absolutely love their ice cream! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Jefferson Depot (formerly Moose Caboose):
We 've lived here a year and they 're never open. Went by last Sat evening for the worlds best burger and guess what, closed. It was several hours before their posted closing hours and their open sign was on. Parked across the street because of our trailer, walked over to eat and no one there. Wasted our time. Guess we 'll never know what their burger is like View all feedback.
My man and I enjoyed delicious, fresh homemade burgers in the jefferson depot. it is a great place to stop on their travels! I love the history of the depot and all old photos. the staff was very nice and friendly. be ready to wait a few minutes for their meal, as it is made fresh and it is worth the wait! Why be in a hurry, enjoy the trip and relax in a great small place in the south park. it's a Jewel!
