That is very clean and very cool cat absolutely no issues and the coffee bar is amazing. The sweet lady that operates in runs. The hotel is amazing and very very polite. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Jefferson. It is close to everything.Rooms: The rooms were comfortable and clean in the beds were comfortableNearby activities: Great, walking trails nearbyWalkability: You can walk to anything you need to doFood drinks: The restaurant right next-door was amazing. We had lunch and breakfast there. The staff was super friendly as well.

I give the rooms a 2 because the walls are paper thin, there is a transom window that allows the hall light in all night and the hall entrance door can be heard... read more I give the rooms a 2 because the walls are paper thin, there is a transom window that allows the hall light in all night and the hall entrance door can be heard opening and closing any time someone comes or goes.That said, we stayed here for the historic and ghostly aspect of the hotel and for that it was great. Great old building with a good history for haunting. The people that work there were excellent and we felt the small town welcome. The city itself was reminiscent of New Orleans and had that same vibe. There was a couple of good little restaurants. We didn't get to do the ghost tour due to rain but I bet it would have been fun. If you are wanting a hotel to get a quiet night sleep maybe not for you. If you want a creaky old haunted hotel that used to be a wild west saloon, it's great. Me and my 9 year old had a blast.Noteworthy details: One of the top ten most haunted hotels in Texas.

The room we were in 204 the bed made... read more The hotel is amazing and clean and has a great history. We had issues with our bed, the thin walls and of course hot water. The room we were in 204 the bed made so much noise every time we moved , and the neighbors coming back at 3 AM and then snoring all night we didn't sleep. We also heard the neighbors alarm clock go off at 8 AM and then snoring again. We had the bathroom door close while we were on the walking tour but other than that no hauntings. Wi Fi was very slow but the coffee provided downstairs was great.Walkability: You can walk all of downtown from the hotel.
