love pjs coffee in general, and this situation is great! there are enough seats for a lot of people, and the coffee and the bake are always on the point! I live out of town, but make them effort to visit this place every time I can to my caffeine mix! View all feedback.
What Ladarius Dickinson doesn't like about P J's Coffee & Tea:
They do not know how to make a Cappuccino the right way. They use way too much milk (10 ounces of milk, and not much of that is foam), and 2 ounces of Espresso. The correct way to make a Cappuccino is 1/3rd espresso, 1/3rd milk, and 1/3rd foam, so a 12 oz cappuccino should have 4oz of espresso, 4oz of milk, and 4oz of foam, but they only give you 2 oz of espresso in their 12 oz cup, which is a small, and they put awa... I have spent many hours over the last 20 years doing my own work while drinking coffee and eating snacks at this location. Love the large window and the Oak trees that are visible right across the parking lot. The workers are very friendly, and the atmosphere is friendly. This location is not college-age heavy. Here you will find a mix of middle school and high school students, senior citizens, and families, depending on the day and time of your visit. I used to do work there until 9PM until they started closing at 6PM. There are no large college-aged student groups around to drink up late coffee in this neighborhood, so it was probably a wise business decision, but the change bummed me out.
This is one of my favorite PJ?s , the other being in Chalmette . The people are courteous , fast polite . The coffee shop was clean and the food was really good . We got breakfast sandwiches ,chocolate chip cookies , and cake balls to go with our fabulous medium roast coffee .

For some reason, my usual coffee tastes 100x better here than in other locations. And the staff is amazing!
I go to this PJs coffe and order coffee drinks and they are good . This time I ordered the frozen lemonade because I wanted something refreshing and I feel like I paid almost $5 for water. I tasted no lemon and definitely no sugar in this drink . I went on my work break so I was not able to go back to return it . The picture is me adding the little corner of pink country time lemonade to it and it still taste bad because the drink was terrible to begin with. 4 stars for the actual place but 1 star for this water frozen ?lemonade?
