Walking into the bar, kind of non descriptive, but the waitress was very welcoming and friendly! We decided on pizza and wings, both were excellent choices! Both far from run of the mill, we all agreed! The garlic parm wings were memorable, crunchy and grilled to perfection! Wish we lived closer! If you are in the area, try it, you will be glad you did!

What a great bar. Was in Java for a conference, and the banquet center and lack of a bar sent us out to look for something more fun. Smokey's was basically just... read more What a great bar. Was in Java for a conference, and the banquet center and lack of a bar sent us out to look for something more fun. Smokey's was basically just around the corner. Plunked down at the bar, and got to know Julie, and the other bar staff, and Benny (baseball player) and Sam (big time Sabres fan, hates the Bruins, but I think I won him over). They were great, and we came back the second night for the (awesome) wings special. Good beer, good food, good times, and new friends. What a blast. I would give them 10 stars if it were possible.
