Smitty's Smoke House - Jasper

I came here on my lunch break for the first time. You order your food and they make it as you're ordering and then you pay and sit down. The place was a little busy as it was lunch time but there was plenty of seating. I got the ribs, sliced brisket, beans and potato salad. The meat way great. My brisket was full of flavor and the ribs were falling off the bone the potato salad was okay but I was hoping it would've been a little better instead of bland. The beans reminded me a lot of the canned beans. But overall, the food was good and the tables were clean. They also sold some canned jellies. They had dessert/cobblers as well but honestly I ordered enough food for two as it was so I couldn't fit anymore.

I stopped for lunch at Smitty's Smoke House in Jasper, TX, and I highly recommend checking it out. The BBQ was fantastic, the service was quick, and the staff was very friendly. Don't miss this place!

We recently visited Smitty's Smoke House with a group of 8 to celebrate a birthday, and the experience was fantastic! The food was delicious, with smoky flavors that really hit the spot, and the prices were very reasonable. The service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal, making sure we had everything we needed. Food is too blah for the prices you pay. We brought pulled beef on bread. Wasn't worth it

I stopped by at 2:45 pm for a quick bite while driving through Jasper. We didn't notice any posted hours, so we were unaware that they close at 3 pm on Sundays. Upon entering, we weren't greeted warmly and felt rushed to make our food choices. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing, and the service was even worse. You can do better!
